You're obviously never going to give the guy credit, not even when he's man of the match and 90% of people are saying he was excellent. Therefore, it's not worth discussing with you, is it? "Seriously" Gerrard's left foot volley was a chance. Pennant also almost scored but for a good save.

He created 2 chances for Gerrard in the first 20 minutes, and that's just off the top of my head.

Thought Zenden was one of our better players tonight, always looking for the ball. Delivery not the best, but played better than Gerrard did on the right.
