That applies to Riera as well.

I'm sure that plays a big role in it. Rafa has also said that Aurelio's situation is "difficult" as he's a good player and person, but prone to injuries, meaning the club can't really offer him a new contract.

That's the sad thing, there isn't a very good team in the squad at the moment, especially when SG and FT are out or badly off form anyway. I'd probably go something like: Pepe Darby-Carra-Agger-Aurelio Maxi-Masch-Lucas-Yossi Aquilani Kuyt with a view to bringing Pacheco on if possible. I really, really don't rate Degen so that's why I'd choose even Darby ahead of him.

Rafa would never ever start Maxi in a game like this. It'll probably be closer to March than January before we'll see him in the starting line up.

Yeah, I think we really did play well at Stamford Bridge and should probably have deserved a draw. Was a bit surprised that none of the press noticed that. Anyway, I must be the luckiest person alive to have had my TV signal down last night to prevent me from watching the match. Can this season not just f***ing end right here and right now?
