Riera keeps hold of the ball probably better than anyone else in our squad. And we've really needed to keep hold of it more recently. Hence a marked improvement yesterday.

Kuyt Carragher Mascherano Also thought Riera, Kyrgiakos and Insua did really well. In real terms though, Dirk has to be man of the match due to his 2 (3) goals.

I've no problem with us signing Jones if we can, but I've never seen a performance from him, which could be called Drogba-like or similar. And I have seen him probably about 15 times.
