Yeah. It's why I don't understand why Maxi hasn't featured more. He's a real pass and move footballer, proper Liverpool. Does the basics exceedingly well and has quite a bit of skill. It's so disappointing watching our attacks break down because of a lack of movement. Carroll's been getting better at it, but we've got absolutely no balance out wide. Downing is half the player Riera was and Kuyt and Henderson aren't really wide players.

That's because Maxi has football intelligence and gets into the box. Everyone just seems to stand around looking at the player with the ball. Johnson is the only attacking player besides Suarez who cuts inside, takes people on and creates havoc and space. We lack movement and Suarez can't be both creator and finisher, the dearth of attacking quality means we are asking too much of him.

He also runs straight past a defender sometimes instead of contesting a header, and picks up the ball and just keeps running. I mentioned it to my friend during the CC final who said he had never noticed it, and then 5 minutes later Suarez did it to someone out on our left. He's very cheeky with his awareness. Love him.

That's one of the other things, we've got the Carling Cup route into the Europa, why not play those who are on the edge of the squad and have a future instead of players like Carra, Kuyt, and Downing, and even Henderson who have all been poor for most of the season or shouldn't be starting next season.
