  1. If we're seriously in a relegation battle come January/February (and with a -9 it maybe wouldn't be that unlikely) surely they couldn't keep him?
  2. I dunno what's got into Molby there, he is generally a good analyst, and he has been absolutely gushing with praise for Rafa when commentating on Danish tele in the past. I believe you all that he said it, but I would say it is out of character based on what I have heard from him in the past. Hope the BBC doesn't have an editorial policy on this stuff.
  3. Just as well we've got the right people making the decisions here then I'm certain we're going to stick with this until Christmas regardless, but it is looking risky.
  4. very infrequent nutters aside, I think the only positive most people are taking is that the poor performance on the pitch is rousing folks from their slumber re: the owners. honestly don't think there are many pleased that RH is failing, or even feeling smug about it. I must admit I'd still be worried about sticking Kenny in the firing line for this s***. Danny Agger has said where it's going to be at. FFS.
  5. I agree.
  6. Proved yourself foolish there HDJ. When he said the opposite.

  8. None of them were as good as Oezil mate
  9. Thuram, Blanc, Barthez... first time round they did, yes. But that side was built around ZZ, not just to harness his talent - it was entirely constructed around his lack of defensive work. The second French team was arguably even MORE talented, by there is no denying the fact that without ZZ they would never have reached the final in 2006.
  10. Difficult to compare ZZ and Messi, isn't it? ZZ was a languid genius who almost drove the French to the World Cup twice, the second time virtually single handedly. On the pitch he could do pretty much nothing for 89 minutes, and then bring out a moment of magic. Messi hasn't done much for the National side, although with questionable managers it must be said, but on the pitch he is all action with stunning skill, and surrounded by team mates who are also able to contribute something... Both brilliant!

    Agger

Just saw that on TV. Looked tremendously unhappy.
  12. "... obviously he was a great professional ..."
  13. Like a pound shop version of Rafa's reds second half. I'll leave it to the high blood pressure posters to figure out if that's a compliment or criticism of the Englishman.
  14. haha. justified.
  15. Mancs on Sunday, I get that - but why are we not giving a s*** about the wafer?
  16. Rafa only won 1 of those, silly. The ball never went in.
  17. Haha. Naughty, but fair, based on the comment about a high line amongst others.

    Poulsen

    Quite decent in the air...
  19. Always nice to hear from Kenny. Amazing how Internet forums are driving the media releases from the club these days. This is almost a direct reply to the criticisms of the way that RH has been setting up the team - "don't worry, he'll change it as he gets to know the players." Just the same thing happened when RH was criticised for playing 442 at Citeh. "He only did that because of Mascherano - he wanted to play 4231 really." It's really shallow stuff. The club shouldn't be sending out semi-official answers to this stuff.
  20. absolutely correct, physically and aerially dominant
  21. Kewell was magnificent in that game as well.
  22. almost single handedly making the forum interesting - well played to you p.s. no answer to the questions...
  23. Probably one of the few times in his career that GH will take over a team and make it more attacking than the previous manager. The GH vs Rafa squad thing is completely pointless seeing as how Rafa couldn't spend the money that GH could. (already said, but worth saying again )
  24. If this held water everyone would have used it as a successful defence at Nuremburg.
