We've been out of the Champions League for a while now, coupled by poor transfers (over-paying in fees and wages) coupled by hiring and firing managers/backroom staff/doctors etc and people still expect us to be performing well financially. The worrying bit that is not being discussed is the fact that there are no true "footballing" personnel sitting anywhere near our board. Where are the real "custodians" of the Liverpool way and of Liverpool Football Club who need to be consulted? Ayre (character flaws aside) should work alongside some proper LFC people.

The one thing that does irk me a lot is his and others constant references to his relationship with Mourinho. As much as Chelsea fans hate Rafa, I can safely say many LFC fans feel the same about him. Rodgers needs to understand he is the manager of an institution bigger than Mourinho.
