I agree with most of whats been said here. The only black mark against him is his right foot, which he so ably demostrated with an air shot on Saturday. He, mostly, makes up for it with his left peg though, and having obviously stepped up a gear in the past 18 months he's hugely important for us.

I dont think they're too far off the mark tbh. First half we were dire, the Jenas miss was a turning point, Bellamy was pretty quiet and we'd be talking about a howling miss had Gonzalez not slotted in the rebound. Second half was much, much better, but by no means did we control the hole game. I thought Alonso and Sissoko got the run-around in the 1st.

Shocking he was. Has the chance to make a name for himself yesterday, but bottled it. I counted three times when Reina had the ball looking to spread it wide quickly where Pennant was walking away from him, back to him, not interested. Infuriating.

There's just no need for him to ghet anywhere near the edge of the box though with the distance he gets on his hoofs.. Sack him.

4-4 in the cup. Bluenoses and Reds open mouthed walking out of the ground. Almost none of the usual stick on the journey back.

Not so long ago Malbranque was good enough for us, according to many posters on here...I think he'll do well at Spurs. Not sure about Chimbonda mind.

Take most of it with a pinch of salt like, but interesting, if there's any truth in it, is the bit about him deciding to try harded with Rafa. Almost sounds as though his relationship with Rafa was the reason he nearly moved on.
