But if we wanted to sell someone on good wages and they refused to leave it'd be said they should stop just taking the money, have some self respect and go somewhere they'll play.
Liverpool don't give players release clauses. If he's leaving for Madrid it had to be on a free imo. We'd want £100m for him, we're looking over £70m for Nunez apparently. Madrid wouldn't pay that.
Proven by others saying he should've said he was going ages ago, while we were still challenging for the league. People would've said he was being selfish in the middle of title race.
Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott is on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs, including Wolves.
Liverpool are thought to value Elliott in excess of £40m.
