It was. We created far less and conceded more when he was out. We couldn't get ball forward as well. I thought they'd have a plan to fix the getting the ball forward from the back stuff but they don't. And to make if worse they even replaced Robertson, who's a very good passer, with someone who can't pass anywhere near as well. That's on Hughes/Edwards. They won't sack themselves. Most people seemed to want another class centre midfielder about February last year. Everyone wanted a Diaz replacement when there was talk of him leaving. Everyone wanted another centre back.

Is this not an absolute collapse by our standards? I expected it to be a lot better than this even if we had loads of teething issues. We don't even play good attacking football. We're good at nothing at the minute. I wouldn't sack him but it's really bad.

Klopp's heart wouldn't be in it. He might think it is for a few months but I think it might go wrong. I wouldn't want to see that.

I agree with most of that but he can go on holiday and come up with a plan but it seems like he just went on holiday.
