To put in the performance he did against the champions, on his full debut in the league, is worthy of praise. I'm sure Rodgers will look after him and use him in the right way, but genuinely excited about his prospects. Not wanting to put any players down but there are some senior members of the squad who could learn from his courage, determination and confidence. A genuine threat on the flanks with pace and ability to carry the ball, and beat a man - something we've not had for as long as I can remember. Big match temperament will not be one of his weaknesses, if today is any indication of his future development.

Why are we even thinking of letting him go? He has pace, ability on the ball, intelligence and big match temperament. Which we are lacking. Especially pace. So what if he's on 4m a year - are we able to find an adequate replacement who has similar experience and ability for the same price, or less?

This. There is simply no need to disclose anything. Work from that point and you'll find a nice balance. Kenny more or less gave nothing away, whilst Rafa provided snippets from time to time. He's well spoken though, but he needs to reel it in a little, Rodgers. In my opinion.
