I had this whole, brilliant and wonderful defence of Ferdinand all worked out......but that picture....... my argument is no in tatters.

To get more people to watch it. Thus they can increase the advertising revenue. Simple economics really.

I don't take the moral high ground, it's all to easy to get knocked off it. Ferguson is like any other winner....a poor loser. As for Ferdinand.....well, he's a typical ill-educated, over paid, over pampered footballer. Most clubs are full of them, even Liverpool. Did he deliberately kick the steward? I doubt it very much. He probably just lashed out and unfortunately the poor woman was in the way. Nothing malicious, just him being a t*t.
