  1. Good. I believe you and my mind is now at rest. If you are wrong however I will hunt you down and.............
  2. That IS worrying. Have a horrible feeling that he could be off. The "hassle" of this year and big money from a "Boston" perspective along with no CL football and other offers from a Luis perspective. If he leaves it wold be a hammer blow to us.
  3. Setting the alarm click for 23:59 now................. Its like the launch of a new IPAD or something, Do they have security for the queues an Anfield and extra servers to cater for the billions of web hits...............
  4. That Arsenal kit looks awful EDIT - And it looks like they will be wearing black armbands all the time........
  5. That is a sign of what we where living under in the last couple of years of Rafa. The damage done to the club was immense and I think perhaps we don't realise just how bad sometimes

  8. ***ing joke, Ref should be banned for life
  9. Well if the FA's retrospective ****** kicks in that should be 3 games
  10. I guess we have to face up to the fact we are just not very good anymore
  11. Bad feeling that I can't shake. He is going to win it for them off the bench and celebrate like a **** - pray I am wrong. There is only one team in football I despise more than these.
  12. As it has the last two owners????
  13. We have far more value to be maximised at the moment. The commercial business can be grown further and champions league football would add to the clubs value Still too early in the project to cash out just yet i think.

  15. Still think they deserve more time.
  16. So how much have they put in then?

  18. That would depend if he wants to go back to Spain. He has captained us and is now the third choice for that after Steve and Carra. Personally I hope he would be ****ed off with tonights performance and look like that - it shows he cares. As its stands who wants to make any predictions, but two cup finals = silverware and that is what playing football is about. Quarter finals of CL are nice, but medals are better, so hopefully he will not be looking this summer Have to agree. Put in a lot of money - quietly backed the manager and acted when its all going wrong. What else could they do. The big issue is the stadium and some positive news on that would help their case. After that, assuming they make money available this summer, what else can they do?? Lots of good commercial deals going through. Two cup finals. Its not actually quite as bad as it could be. Yes the league position is **** and some of the performances have been bad, but quite a few of losing performances have actually been quite good.
  19. They are in the commercial team and its the mail's take on it Would think (hope!!) its the 12 month+ review and now the broom is sweeping through. I look at Boston and hope, cause otherwise we are ****ed
  20. It will be a draw and then their remaining opponents will capitulate as per instructions............ EDIT - sorry I meant usual, not instructions, honestly
  21. What a load of **** He has publically stated for years that he would only manage them a short time and, as has already been mentioned, there was some doubt over him signing he extension to stay on for this season. Obviously with the quality of he players he has had at Barca his next move, when he chooses to make it, will be interesting and left to define just how good a manager he really is, but the likes of Messi and co really rate him so he definately has something. We can live in hope, but he strikes me as a man of his word. I reckon after Christmas he will get his agent to start puting out the feelers NOTE - I still worship Kenny and am not suggesting a change of manager, but IF Kenny had to go he would be top of my wishlist.
  22. I reckon a year out. He doesn't need to go into another job and can't see him needing money. He wil get a top job in 12 months as soon as he makes himself available. Chelsea's track record with managers will put him off. I reckon whatever job he takes he will want to know he has at least a couple of years to impose his playing style etc. He will know his Barca approach can't just be pushed easily onto another team. I would agree (trying to take off my pro Liverpool blinkers) and say us and Pep would actually be a good match. Obviously the are big question marks over how well he will be able to do outside of Barca, but his record there is unreal (pun slightly intended)
  23. Is the game on TV? If not the FA will step in and cancel the handshake. It's only us they like to treat like ****s
  24. Might changes things with Guardiola Barcelona's Pep Guardiola 'on brink of leaving club' By Ben Smith BBC Sport Pep Guardiola is understood to be on the brink of ending his tenure as manager of Barcelona after telling the club he can not carry on. The 41-year-old Catalan will announce his intentions at a press conference at the Nou Camp on Friday afternoon. And barring a last-minute change of heart, Guardiola is expected to confirm his departure from the club he has led to two Champions League titles. The Barcelona manager has arranged to meet his players on Friday morning. It is thought Guardiola will take a year-long break from football should he leave his post. Guardiola spent three hours with Barcelona president Sandro Rossell on Thursday morning. During the talks, which took place at Rossell's private home in the city, Guardiola is understood to have expressed his belief that he could "not go on." What had begun as discussions over an extension to his one-year rolling contract soon turned into a push to keep Guardiola at the club. Rossell is understood to have offered Guardiola unlimited spending power this summer but the Catalan will not base his decision on money. Guardiola, who captained the club as a player, has always maintained that he would do what was best for the club. He spent Thursday afternoon with his family and is expected to tell Rossell of his decision later tonight. While it cannot be ruled out that Guardiola may change his mind, the club fear that the man who has led them to two Champions League titles and three La Liga crowns has made his decision. The manner of the defeat by Real Madrid on Saturday, a result which effectively saw Barcelona relinquish their Primera Division title to Jose Mourinho's men and the Champions League defeat by Chelsea have prompted this rethink. Rosell has, however, been firmly behind his manager in the wake of those results. "I hope that Josep is our coach next season", Rosell said on Wednesday. "We have confidence in him; he is essential for our type of play." Guardiola stepped up from manager of the Barcelona B in 2008 and has gone on to become the most successful coach in the club's illustrious history. During his four-year tenure, Guardiola has won two Champions League crowns, three La Liga trophies, one Copa del Rey, three Supercopas, two Uefa Super Cups and two Fifa Club World Cups.
  25. Read an article yesterday (maybe on the BeeB??) suggesting he may have a year out. It said it wanted to come to England and was top of Chelsea's list, but he had reservations about joining them. Would love him to come IF we had needed a manager (and I am pro Kenny) but can't see it. I remember when he last left Barca we got linked (Ged was managing us if i recall correctly) and I hoped then we would sign him. Reckon he may well end up in Manchester in 12 to 18 months..... just a "gut" feeling I have had for a while
