I think we need to accept we have to step up. We don't have the money, squad or competitions to blow £30mil and £200,00 a week on a single player this summer. We need to sign some very good youngsters (early 20's) and hope they can step up. Having said that I would hope we could do better than Dempsy for another front line striker. We desperately need a goal scorer and we know they are not cheap.

Agree. Liverpool will know they will have to move quickly so assuming Rodgers wants him I reckon it could be done within days

For the first time since Kenny left I now feel excited about the new season. Not expecting us to perform miracles mmind, but we COULD be a bit of a suprise package.

Once we know the main players are all staying (Reina, Agger, Skrtel, Suarez.....) then I will start to look forward to next season A "marquee" signing would be nice, but mainly bringing in 3 or 4 players that will add some quality top the first team would be a start He has a philosophy so hopefully he will know what current players fit and what he needs to add.........
