It's obvious from his interviews on the topic that there is no way he wants to step back into it. Loves the coaching, hates all the press stuff, media interviews, personal intrusion etc.

He does that thing where, when he smiles fully, his gums above his front top teeth show. That is a trait that I find physically repulsive in a lot of people. I think this ought to be considered. If he’s our manager and he’s happy a lot, I don’t want him showing his gums to me in post match interview interviews or on primetime television. He’ll need surgery before he’s allowed to take the job if I have anything to do with it.

There’s absolutely no point in having a CL place if Slot’s in charge so it’s academic. The answer is Slot must go.
