You can be Hughes and I'll be Edwards (or visa versa) and they can pay us a massively reduced wage in comparison and we'd sort this out no problem. Letting Jan sail buy when we had Guehi and Semanyo lined up was crazy considering it was a world cup summer. I appreciate the wage issue with Guehi but if you're in for him then you know it's a position that needs filling and will do so even more if Konate walks 6 months later so who else was on the list? Now everyone knows we need a senior CB so the fees go up. Read he had something like 60 assists or something similar in a couple of seasons so that's pretty incredible and maybe just what we need for someone like Isak. Obviously hope he's amazing and probably have underrated him simply by not seeing him enough..

That’s a very good point. My main thing I want for our manager is to be able to look to the bench on 65 and have proper options to either win a game or see it out by being able to rest players for a game coming up in 3 days time.
