could never marry an Aussie

I would say 5th for Spurs is over-performing. I'd expect us, City and Arsenal to be above them as we have better squads. I'd expect Chelsea, Mancs and Newcastle to be ahead of them due the money they have spent on transfers/wages. So, I'd say 7th is par for Spurs I don't really want their manager though. Not sure who I want apart from Klopp

the fact that Ljinders is leaving to pursue his managerial career means he must have been told by FSG he's not in the running to succeed Jurgen. that surprises me that he's been discounted so quickly, makes me think they know exactly who they want and have already spoken to them

he used very specific language that didn't rule it out if it isn't Xabi, I'm struggling to think of anybody else that I'd want

Nagelsman is a massive fraud. I'd rather have Moyes.

the main difference between Dalglish and Klopp resignations (apart from the immediacy) is Klopp is leaving a much stronger/younger squad for his successor than Dalglish did. it is going to have. knock on effect to summer transfers and how attractive we are as a club to players. Klopp was a massive part of us enticing players to join.

I'm old enough to remember Dalglish resigning. This is worse.

had to go straight into a work meeting after I found out, luckily the 3 other reds on the call decided we had more important things to talk and sob about than work the one blue in the meeting was overjoyed

just ignore the prick

Hopefully, he can use this season to get used to Klopp football and a proper pre-season should help for next season. However, after a promising start, I'm beginning to see why Bayern were happy to let him go.
