    His recent comments about opponents using low blocks/long balls, and not knowing yet how to counter that, are a bit worrying. I mean it's not exactly a revolutionary tactic, especially in this league. I would expect more than a 'waddya gonna do' shrug in response.

    Agree on Mac, just thinking longer term when all are fit. May be a bit too soon to rule Wirtz out of attacking midfield role too but we need that control again that last season's midfield gave us. Dom gave us a lot defensively from the 8 position.

    Wirtz probably needs to move into front 3 based on evidence so far. Maybe as false 9, with Salah, Isak/Eki coming in in front from right and left. Grav, Dom and Mac as midfield three, with Mac and Grav sitting deepest.

    Last season we had a run of v average first halves, sometimes going behind, and Slot seemed to fix it at half time. Not seen that the last few games.

    Poor from start to finish. Having to play Szob at right back over two right backs is symptomatic of problems.

    Too much David Banner about him. Slot should slap him round the cheeks and insult his mother before every game.

    Not sure yet we have enough of a threat down our left. Kerkez still to prove he's an attacking force. Gakpo sometimes effective, and maybe Ekitike can play there, but we miss Diaz and his work rate.

    Arne's comment that the goal was mainly about Chiesa and Hugo shouldn't be going overboard about scoring it was quite cutting (but true).
