Any talk of a release cause in his contract? If not, and we are in for him, could become a bit of a saga. Though if it seems inevitable he's going, Newcastle will want to get it done so they can splurge on a replacement. So then may not be a v long saga... HTH

Hope we don't lose Konate, but if we do we need to finalise it and get his replacement in sharpish. Takes time usually for centre backs to build a partnership. Don't want Virgil and Guehi still in getting-to-know you mode when we're lining out against a*** next month.
