Yes interesting. Didn't realise he was so good on the ball and playing out from the back. It's a trade-off with his limitations in the air. But given how Slot like us to play, he could be a significant improvement on Quansah in playing from back through the other team's press.

Don't hand over Quansah till we've got Wirtz in our possession. Do the exchange at night in a disused car park or port area, with armed muscle, if necessary.

Yeh probably more theory than reality. A kick in the nuts if another one of our best players goes for nothing.

If he won't sign bring in his long term replacement this summer, and decrease his minutes over next season as the new guy gets up to speed. All being well, Konate is more on bench than playing by the end of the season.

Terrific stuff. Watching that I still think we should keep Jota. He was poor in later part of season after injury (but in fairness our level generally dropped a bit). He knows where the goal is though, better than anyone in the squad bar Mo, and is clinical if played at the right time and if fit. If...
