yeah, wierd to have Zenden and Hamann on the list - why's that? Both are ideal for what Rafa wants from a squad - good depth players. And Zenden is one of them players that can fill in various positions on the team.

 

With Hamann, I'm sure Rafa would love to keep him, but maybe Didi will move on, so with that we'll have to see.

 

It's unrealistic to expect to bring in 10 new players into the first team squad this summer.

I think the point is he wants a bigger squad - at least 2 more than this year. Don't be surprised if we sign another CB, CM, RM and (of course) striker. Also dont be surprised if Dudek stays and Carson goes (on loan at least).

Sounds about right. Maybe swap Warnock for Zenden. It will come down to one of those two I reckon. And obviously there is no telling whether we will sign SWP, Owen and Kuyt, but hey why not list the usual suspects.

 

Maybe also throw in Barragan or some other youth player . I doubt Martin will be involved with the first team as 3rd choice keeper.

Anyway, only three targets really needed, so we might see some major cash splashed on a few players. They are pretty crucial signings to get right, so well worth it if neccesary.
