Repington

I think the intention is that Sarr is the back-up striker; Minteh the starting right-winger.

Gakpo doesn’t fit the profile of quick wingers who can play on either wing.

Buy Lamine Camara and play Szoboslai on the right.

They are skint like every French club bar PSG.

We might have to sell Gakpo; along with both Chiesa and Endo; in order to register any new winger signings for the Champions League squad rules.

Liverpool are investing heavily in the U-18s market.

Bowen is an Everton signing; past his best, slowing down and high wages.

No Guehi bid from Liverpool in January according to Paul Joyce; plan is to sign him on a free.

Newcastle have been showing him around their ground; it seems as though it is close to completion.

There’s no room in the squad as outlined above.

Wait until Newcastle sign both Jackson and Wissa and then see the Afcon fixtures.

One of them scored in the game earlier.

If Leeds can stay up all sorts of interesting possibilities are possible.

But can they afford to pay for Diaz with actual money?

Kai Havertz.

The inclusion of a buy-out clause.

Liverpool currently have 15 non-home grown players in the squad; with one more joining in the summer; we have to be aware of this issue and adopt a one in, one out policy.

£5m for each win in the Champions' League.

Bajcetic to RBS on loan without any option.

I think we need a second-choice goalkeeper if Kelleher is sold. We need a young left-sided centre-back in order to be able to rotate van Dijk. We need a starting DM so that Endo and Bajetic can be rotated into the side and Mac Allister be played further forward. We need a young left-footed right-winger to provide an immediate back-up to and eventual replacement for Salah.

According to Neil Jones we're looking at signing a full-back, a centre-back and a forward. I don't know why we're looking at full-back but I can see the sense in the other two positions if the centre-back is a left-sided one.

Red Bird already own AC Milan and have a minority stake in FSG.

It’s the Arteta path.

We can't sign an additional defender as we cannot register another player in our squad. The important number to remember is 17, as in non homegrown or association trained players; both Gravenberch and Doak are counted in this number as neither are below the age of 21 and have been registered at Liverpool for two years.

Sell Salah next summer for £150m + and buy a quality right-back & LCB: Allison; RB, Konate, van Dijk/LCB, Robertson/LCB; Alexander-Arnold, Gravenberch; Szobolszlai, Mac Allister, Diaz; Nunez.
