Who Deco or Henry? If its the latter I agree, Deco on the other hand...Barca need cash if they are to make any big name signings and given their wealth in midfield they can afford to offload Deco who IMO hasn't exactly set the place a light. Don't forget they have players like Messi and Iniesta coming through...

Deco, he's awesome. They dont even need Henry, they should concentrate on sorting their s***ty defence out for once.

I wasn't really that impressed by Deco until he went to Barca but he has a lot more to his game than I had previously given him credit for.

 

I wonder if there's more to this than meets the eye though, Lampard has been vocal about wanting to play for Barca in the future this week, maybe there'll be some sort of swap deal.

I thought exactly the same mate, as I only see bits of him at Porto but as Barca are on TV in England every week its easier to watch him now. Anyway, I thought he was just a show pony but he's got a bit of everything and his work rate is incredible.

Deco was arguably Barca's most important player last season - however he's gone off the boil a bit this season (was even dropped for a game) and has been talking in the press about the atmosphere being better during Portugal get togethers etc, etc.

 

Wouldn't really fit into our team though, especially when there is a nice Riquelme shaped hole there ;)

I can't stand that diving little pixie. He's horrid, and wouldn't get into our midfield anyway. Quite how he's a regular at Barca, ahead of Van Bommel, I don't know.

How can anyone not see the ability Deco has ????

 

How Fatty Lampard is mentioned in the same sentence astounds me, there again people compare Lampard to Stevie G and give him prizes over him, so feckin nothing amazes me so much anymore.

On Deco it was only when i saw him for barca that i realised what he could do. I thought Rui Costa gave him a lesson in how to be a team's playmaker in Euro2004 where deco was poor.

 

Deco and Steg are obviously more gifted than Lampard but i still reckon deco and Lampard shouldn't swap as their effectiveness would decline in each other's team

He might not be the right man for the job but IMO Chelski need a Deco type player because they lack creativity in the centre, as we have witnessed nullify the wingers and their s***...Although I agree Barca do not need Lampard at least not atm..
