I love a bit of listening to the radio. Sports, music, chat, whatever. My first radio was my greatest ever present as a kid from my parents. Listening to the reds (and tbh, anyone) playing European footy games from under the duvet, or just chilling in bed to whatever music station on the weekend mornings are cherished memories. So I thought I'd share a bit of what I've been listening to recently in case it's of interest to folks, and ask for any recommendations to diversify my experience.

I used to listen to a lot of BBC Radio 3 when they go off-piste with stuff like Night Tracks, Unclassified, and Late Junction, but the BBC has nuked everything apart from World Service to listeners outside the UK recently which is f***ing useless of them. I know I can VPN it but that does raise the bar to participation in a non-trivial and annoying way. Stupid BBC. But all you people in the UK will be fine with it. Night Tracks has been my favourite radio show for years and years so it is sadly missed atm by me. Could listen to Sarah Mohr-Pietsch weaving her weird musical patterns endlessly.

NTS is providing the kind of anti-spotify listening experience and if you can overlook the lack of jazz specialist programmes there is a f***ton of great stuff on there for most tastes.

Similar to NTS but a bit more underground is Noods radio out of Bristol which I also recommend.

Any other Internet Radio nerds out there? Any tips for us?
