Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Really like this lad & I get the feeling Kloppo does too. He's blooding him for a bunch of minutes every game. He's come a long way in a short space of time, at first he was running all over, like 8 year olds do, trying to get every ball, wasting a lot of energy & panicking. Then he was instructed in a game he'd started to calm it down which he did & now he always seems to have that little bit of time on the ball that good players have. Weird that he's 23 and only now breaking through, but I suppose there are no rules about it
Benitez Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Amazing really, must be great for him, dumped by Spurs, picked up by the club he supports, then Kloppo turns up and take a real shine to him! I admit, I didn't even know who Kev Stewart was till he suddently turned up in the squads last season He'll do a job, keeps it simple, diciplined, follows his coaches instructions, we'll see plenty of him later in league games this season. And maybe he'll get a start in the cup game on Tuesday.
Ombudsam Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I thought he was really shyte until the West Ham cup games. Especially the second. Whatever happens he'll always have that 10 minutes just after half time in the Barca friendly. There's people still referencing that literally right now
mally Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 He's a year older than Can and I can't see what he's good at.
Cunny Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Does a job but limited. Ideal for bringing on when you are winning a game and want to see it out.Behind Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum, Lucas and Milner (if he wasn't playing left back) for a central midfield spot. You'd expect Grujic to be ahead of him in the long term and that's before we try and buy Dahoud.
muleskinner Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Sounds like Dahoud is going to happen, we can get a decent-ish sum if Stewart keeps getting game time. Looking well stocked in the middle.

baja the hut Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Various reports overnight.Oh ok, thanks will do some googling.
épieur Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 He's a year older than Can and I can't see what he's good at.He's Lucas-lite. Managers love a player who will do exactly what you ask them to.
New York Red Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 He is a great squad player. Just gets on with it.
