just woundering about the summer , i trust john henry and the other owners , that they will put their money where their mouth is and stump up the cash for the right players , that being said , there are usually a number of players who will be out of contract during the summer ..............

 

is there a particular site or sites , that it is possible to view a list of players that are due to be out of contract in the summer ?

He did but there is an option from either side to extend for a further 12 months. Likely to be taken up by the club.

Can we afford £1 million? And surely the club that takes him will want more than that?

don't think these owners will want to sign too many older players on a bosman because that usually means massive wages and no sell on value.

 

There can be value sometimes with an older player like Gary Mac, or even the Greek but i don't think either of these players were on huge wages and they do represent value for money.

 

Think we'll be trying to get rid of a few high earners in the summer, players like Cole, Jovanovic, Konchesky, Poulson who haven't really contributed enough in the first team can be moved on and their places can be taken by younger players that can come into the first team and players from within the club.
