YWNA TV series of the decade

[Snookie]

A brilliant decade for American drama

The Wire - the greatest TV series ever made and the second isn't really that close even if it is The Sopranos

Deadwood - How did this last only three series

Mad Men

Dexter

Generation Kill

Six Feet Under

Si-Fi fantasy

The end of Buffy

Firefly - how the hell did this last one season?

True Blood

Comedy

Curb Your Enthusiasm

The Office - American & UK versions

Arrested Development

And then there is the Reality TV and the return of 1950s's style Saturday night family entertainment (the Generation Game, Come Dancing etc) which defines the TV decade as much as anything else.
