Now I don't mean something like sambuca - which is admittedly awful, a smell & I'll retch - but somethig that you thought may be ok?

 

I was in a bar - Marion's - in NYC & famous old martini bar/restaurant & was leathered - on martinis.

 

They had a smoky martini which I thought would either be the greatest or worst drink ever - vodka & Laphroaig.

 

f*** me - even through a martini haze it was shudderingly awful
