ok here we go - kind of in response to Sutty's Prem s**** XI - we have to chose a World squad as you would for a tourny - 3 keepers, 8 defenders, 8 MF & 5 strikers/attackers/forwards whatever you want to call them.

 

Obviously we can tinker with the numbers a bit.

 

In goal the first 2 pick themselves - Reina & Casillas. After that...

 

MF - first 6 have to be easy - Xabi, Xavi, Iniesta, Gerrard, Essien, Masch

 

Up front - Rooney, Ronaldo, Torres, Messi

 

 

any arguments there? Who else to fill it out?

Rooney nowhere near for me, Aguero or Villa in.

Not sure about Masch and Essien either

I'd pick basically the Spanish squad plus Gerrard, Messi and Ronaldo
