They say sales of beer goes up in a recession, so we should be fine. However, there may be several more companies not willing to spend silly money getting their names on a shirt in the next couple of years. Rugby Union could be in for a hop with all the bank sponsorship it enjoys.

No doubt the sp*nkbags will find some other sponsor willing to pay even more than AIG were paying them, so they can go out and buy some other reasonably well-liked and talented footballer, and turn him into a c*nt of the highest possible order.

Maybe its time that some of the money flowing out of the game can get channeled back into it. Would anything be more appropriate than organizations that have benefited from the mancs generosity over the years to give back for once. From next season they should be sponsored by the ref’s in appreciation for all the times its been the other way around.
