just watching the Paisley programme in LFCTV

28 clean sheets, 4 goals conceded at home and a points tally of 68 - that would equate to 97 under the current system

yes but 42 games played back then not 38

under 3 points for a win

We won 19 and drew 2 at home = 59 points

and won 11 and drew 6 away = 39 points

Total = 98 points :bleh:

then knock off 4 games = somewhere between 86 & 98 points

I want to know who scored those four goals against us at Anfield - can't find details anywhere (yet) though.

Andy King got the Everton one

think he was the only player to score twice past Clem

Was someone sent off in that year's derby?

Bad tackle over in front of the Kemlyn Road, actually just off the pitch.

Was that the year?

There was a late John Bailey og at the Anny Road end (just like the phil neville one a couple of years ago) around then too.

Trying desperately to think of something involving Mike Pejic so that I can throw his name into the mix.

There was also the Jimmy Case tackle on Geoff Nulty in a derby from that era.

that was at goodison and i aint sure Case was sent off...ended his career mind

Gary Stanley got sent off

McMahon got sent off a few years later at Anfield if I remember rightly

That year or ever? That's an amazing stat if it's the latter.
