I'd go 4-3-3,

Reina

Arbeloa

Carragher

Skrtl

Dossena (if Aurelio not fit)

Mascherano

Alonso

Kuyt

Gerrard

Babel

Torres.

Riera and Keane on the bench.

yep, Riera in for Babel would be my guess.

oh and on the blues****, how good would it be to see a corner flag punch back?

I think you have to have Kuyt in the team for tough away games. plus he could do one of his kung fu tackles again.

I think we'd play better with a genuine winger type player instead of dirk, he's too narrow (like we always say) and can't go past people, this i think frees up a full back who can shift into the centre(ish) blocking the runs into the box.

I don't actually think that playing Kuyt makes us too narrow, he keeps the shape of the team quite well, playing in a 4-2-3-1 especially. Its strange, his work rate is becoming a stick to beat the guy with now (not you SK) instead of being viewed as a quality. He also links up well with Stevie and Arbeloa. I'd have him in there at the minute no doubt. I like Babel on the left of the 3, it all depends, if Rafa goes 442 it will be Riera and Kuyt, if 4-2-3-1 I would like to see Babel on the left.

If he goes 442 than I hope Kuyt plays up front with Torres, with Babbel and Reira as the wingers

I would start with Kuyt over Babel. But agree with Carra at right back.

id be tempted to drop skrtel for this game, only because he keeps getting yellow cards every game and i could see him getting 3 yellows and a red....but then again he would probably scare the crap out of yak and haha
