Bootle Buck Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Will it be the end of the line tonight? Will they blame Heysel? Will they be entering the Intertoto?
AE Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I want them to get through.More games they play the more dropped points they will (hopefully) have in the league.
Tosh Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Everton or Spurs? Which do you reckon would be the more entertaining game. Not result. Game of footy to watch. I think Spurs
Falconhoof Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I want them to get through.More games they play the more dropped points they will (hopefully) have in the league. He's got their self belief right up there and they've been playing above themselves. Going out to Fiorentina would be a blow to their confidence. The kind of players they have should be aiming for European football. The likes of Arteta, Cahill, Yakubu, Howard, Worf...they are all at that sort of stage where they could push on and become recognized nationally or on the European stage and they can only really do that by impressing in Europe. I think they are capable of scoring at least twice against Fiorentina tonight. Fiorentina looked shaky under pressure but Everton didn't do enough of that in their away leg.
usualsuspect Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Eerily a team in Red has gone to a team in blue with a 2 goal lead.. and eerily I am rooting for the team in red.

Sion Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) The crowd are silent. Maybe they're worried because the birkenhead tunnel is closed (says the woman on the tannoy at the woodhouse) and they'll have a longer trip home to North Wales. Edited March 12, 2008 by Sion
Falconhoof Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 "from 10pm the Birkenhead tunnel will be closed in both directions"

Falconhoof Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 The Italians are terrible nothing like the side last week. They were s*** then its just that they played at their own pace and Everton sat off them. They haven't done that here.

Benitez Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 They were s*** then its just that they played at their own pace and Everton sat off them. They haven't done that here. yep! Thats the thing in the first leg, wasn't that Fiorentina where good, Everton where so very bad, that they where able to beat them easy. But it was a really poor quality game of football. Anyway, I just wasted 40+ mins watching PSV - Spurs 1st half. Another poor game, can't be as bad 2nd half, can it?
Guest JV Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Fat c*** Sam thought that was a penno then contradicts himself. What a prick.
