NEMETH RETURNS AGAINST SUNDERLAND

Prolific striker Krisztian Nemeth returns for the reserves in tonight's top of the table clash in Sunderland.

The Hungarian hasn't featured in the last two games but is back as Gary Ablett's side look to retain top spot in the FA Premier Reserve League North.

 

The game can be viewed online through LFC TV from 6.45pm GMT.

 

The Liverpool team in full is: David Martin, Stephen Darby, Emiliano Insua, Daniel Ayala, Ronald Huth, Damien Plessis, Ryan Flynn, Jay Spearing, Jordy Brouwer, Krisztian Nemeth, Ray Putterill. Subs: Daniel Pacheco, Peter Gulacsi, Gerardo Bruna, Ryan Crowther, Andras Simon.

Think Sunderland will have a pretty experienced team out tonight because the Youth Cup game is this week too. Should be a good test for the young ressies, lots of potential on the bench too.

What's been up with him, anyone know?

 

Haven't seen or heard much about him this season, has he been injured? Hopefully he can have the same impact as Nemeth and maybe even forge a decent partnership as Nemeth can drop off a bit and let Simon play as the CF.

 

No sign of San Jose either, I wonder if he's gonna be considered for the squad this weekend after getting on the bench v Chelsea?

Pacheco doesn't yet have the legs to last 90mins....should add at that level.

Goal disallowed for offside. Huth's header was going straight in but Ayala got a touch to knock it in and the flag was raised.

 

Looked like Flynn was offside....
