so the barcodes have gone from one gobsh*te manager who loves his press but has never managed a big club and who wheels and deals to get value for money from players but is not exactly known for the attractiveness of the football his teams play to another? f***ing mentalists.

Seriously don't see the point in sacking Alladyce to replace him with Redknapp. A lot of money in pay offs for a sideways step.

 

Both of them play lowest common denominator football and have won jack (even McClaren actually won something), out of the two, judging on pre-newcastle, I would have rated alladyce as the slightly better manager as at least he kept bolton consistently punching above their weight for quite a few seasons.

Almost unbelievable, but this is Newcastle we're talking about.

 

I almost fell under a district line tube when reading that the Newcastle board were determined that they should play entertaining football. This is presumable the same board that appointed Allardyce. And is now appointing Harry pissing Redknapp.

He's a better manager than Allardyce, in my opinion.

 

But given the cost and aggro of switching, I don't see why Newcastle bothered.

And £5m a year according to one of the london papers. That is surely more than Rafa and Wenger are on. Wasn't Mourinho on £5m a year.

 

Plus a private jet so he can commute from the south coast.

I don't get this at all. Why would you want to leave Porstmouth for Newcastle, just doesn't make sense at all. He's built a squad playing as he wants and doing pretty well, so leaves them for that lot!?!? EH!?!?!?!? :wacko: :wacko:

1. £5m a year might have something to do with it

2. the ability to work with one of the biggest clubs in the world with the best/ most loyal/ most patient fans in the world
