Stevie H Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 the most pointless friendly in the history of pointless friendlies? and why is it on a friday night at 8pm? and why has mclaren picked a midfield of beckham - gerrard - lampard - cole? particularly when only two of them are playing regular top-level football? and is anybody going to watch it?
Hassony Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 its amazing that beckham got back in the squad after scoring 2 goals against a bunch of actors in a charity match!!! did argentina try and call up maradonna after he scored in that unicef game last year? what happens if england win, I suppose SCS will be happy that he can drop SWP and Barry to bring back his mates
Guest petelfc Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 (edited) Whatever minsicule crumb of support I had for England has quickly evaporated with the inclusion of that footballing fraud, Beckham. Edited November 16, 2007 by petelfc

That'll be: Yes, f*** knows, because he's f***ing stupid, because he's really f***ing stupid, Cobs. Edited November 16, 2007 by Gilps

Guest Linton Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Whatever minsicule crumb of support I had for England has quickly evaporated with the inclusion of that footballing fraud, Beckham. At least he gives a s*** and produce something on the pitch for England. Not that I care much, I have Swedens game at the Bernabeu to "look forward to"..brrrr. If we get a point there I'll be very proud of the boys.

Cobs Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 cobs is at home alreadyi work from home you bell
R A Softlad Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 its amazing that beckham got back in the squad after scoring 2 goals against a bunch of actors in a charity match!!! And it wasn't even the cast of Escape to Victory...
John am Rhein Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 and why has mclaren picked a midfield of beckham - gerrard - lampard - cole? I'm sure the sponsors insisted...
kenny7 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 One of our many youth keepers is playing for the Bulgarian U21's at the mo, and Beckhams only playing in order to get him close to 100 caps he'll definetly be playing against Croatia barring injury.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Macca's prediction: A really f***ing dull game, won 2-0 and completely unconvincingly by ENglaND
anfield11 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I wonder if they are effectively out by tomorrow, if they will load up the team with Mancs on Wednesday?!?
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 This is absolutely dire. I'm actually considering putting Children in Need back on....

CarraLegend Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Comical. You just expect him to get injured everytime he steps onto the pitch, it's ridiculous. And people would still have us paying about £10m and 100k a week for him.
Guest Kaizer Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 owen off? You could not make it up. Well thats him out of the Newcastle game then probably, I was hoping to get to see him again next Saturday.
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 (edited) Fair play to Manninger there. Diving in at the feet of Joe Cole and not writhing around in agony after the save. Jurgen Macho was meant to have swallowed his tongue earlier after the clash with Crouch wasn't he? Goal for Crouch from a corner. Edited November 16, 2007 by LondonLiverpoolFan
