Mike Reilly would have had to give a penalty the blues***es way to even it up and Styles would have sent off nine players. I thought Klattenburg kept his head well under the pressure and bile from the blues***es. It's ridiculous he is prevented from reffing because he had a GOOD game.

It does seem to be the case, the FA have just spun it to placate everton, and it looks like they've feel for it.

 

It did seem odd yesterday that they never said why he was being dropped, when Styles was dropped it was because of the phantom penalty, everton's complaints seem to be about a string of whinges rather than a single clear cut mistake.

 

The yellow for Kuyt was correct if he thought it was a careless block, the idea that he changed his mind on the hibbert red is pure conjecture (and a red was clearly the correct decision anyway) and the penalty at the end was unclear at best, I think it was a pen but compare it to the Torres penalty at Reading, which also wasn't given and no ref was dropped and it's just one of those things (unlike Styles's error which was incredible and you won't see again for years) I can't see him being dropped for any of those decisions, and those that think he was biased through-out should remember Kuyt's wrongly disallowed goal.
