Bootle Buck Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Gerrard in collision with young boy Hope the lad is OK and Stevie is alright too.
growler Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 seems like it was a genuine accident and not as a result of speeding or anything. Ste already looking at doing good by the lad.
Guest Ant Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 No One Likes to hear bad news about Liverpool Players....
Guest Snorky Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 If the press thought for one iota that Stevie was to blame there would be no other news on tv or radio at the moment. The kid ran into the car, it was his fault. He is fine apart from a broken leg. Steve is bound to be distressed but he's got to realise that in no way whatsoever is he to blame. Also, this kid will be made up with all the attention, and he'll be telling anyone and everyone that Steven Gerrard ran him over. He'll get spoilt rotten by Gerrard in the next few months. I just hope Stevie isn't affected to badly by this.
Guest Snorky Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Reports coming in suggest the lad was a Man United fan
Gunga Din Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Reports coming in suggest the lad was a Man United fan pity it wasnt a Man United player

Last night teletext said the kid had run out in front of his car. This morning it's changed and says an investigation is underway.
gkmacca Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Unless the police actually witnessed it there'd have to be an investigation. It just means Plod will fill in some forms. This wouldn't have happened had Keggy Keegan's Green Cross Code ads still been running on TV.
matty Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Reports coming in suggest the lad was a Man United fan It'd be the first target he's hit for a while.

JohnnyH Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Reports coming in suggest the lad was a Man United fan Manc population control. All for it personally.
Grimes Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 According to the Mirror "Steven Gerrard runs down boy, 10 ", I'd expect that type of headline from the other c****. They go on to mention that it was in his "£175,000 Bentley" before bothering to tell us if the kid is ok and likewise Gerrard.
lammyrider Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 did spot the other rag had run the same headline whilst in the paper shop there was a tiny bit about 10 pages in,in the express

Guest Snorky Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 erm, does anyone know if the kid is alright by the way? People wouldn't be this sick if he wasn't, broken leg that's it.

Aye, pissed me right off that did when they were showing the paper headlines on the news. f***ing c***s.
The Hitman Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 I thought this was about a tackle he made on Wright-Phillips.
Cam Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 But was he driving on the right, the left or through the middle? We need to know. Or was he just a spectator whilst Xabi, Momo and Masch took turns driving?
