Cliff M talking about Venice - got me in the mood to go over

 

So I booked it for mid October. Ryan Air - Flight is 1p each way, total cost £55 per person...but anyhoo

 

I'm going; it's where my family hails from but I haven't been since I was 15 so need tips and reccommendations - hotel already booked and I'm aiming to eat a lot of pasta so want restaurant tips as it's truly a horrendous place for crap, rip off restaurants

 

also any decent bars/nightlife
