i have just watched the 2005 european cup final tonight, part of my cleansing process after Athens (watched that in full last night)

 

what a football club we support.......a few observations

 

i watched this sober by the way

 

1. Traore wasnt as bad 1st half as i remember

2. How good was Xabi second half and in extra time

3. ditto gerrard, esp when he went to right back

4. if Riise passes when he soots after about 62 minutes we win in normal time

5. Garcia controls the ball 10 yards out after 82 mins ditto
