We came back to beat the Champions of Europe in their own yard. Bellamy set Riise up to score with his right foot after the golf club incident.

 

Whatever happens that was the standout for me, moreso than beating chelsea even but then this team of Benitez's has given us so much to be proud of that you just have to stand back and admire the work of the man.

 

I don't care if Milan are out for revenge, I don't care if Kaka is even more dangerous in this more advanced role (and f*ck me he was something else two years ago) I don't care if Gerrard has mockered the Gattuso to ridiculous levels, I don't care about their performances against Man Utd, I don't care if fate wants to smile on Maldini, I don't care if they battered us for 110mins, I don't care about poetic justice. Rafa's gonna have a plan, that's all we really need.

They had two of the best strikers in the world 2 years ago, now they've got Mr Offside, who whilst a good player, isn't a patch on those two.

Agree. We've improved greatly as well. We need Seedorf to have one of his trademark shockers of a game, and Mascherano to man-mark Kaka out the game. 6 is ours.

They beat the Mancs easily because the Mancs are all gung ho, fantastic against shyte teams but not much cop against top clubs.

Mancs were outplayed, there was feck all gung ho about their non-appearance at the San Siro.

 

We can get into these from the kick off like we do in our home games or we can pick them off in midfield and break on them, away style. Their bottle will be going in the warm up when they hear the strangely familiar songs they've been hearing in their nightmares the last two years coming down from the stands again, no matter what they say.

Of course all the mancs know now claim that Milan are a better side than they were two years ago and the best side in the comp (just as Top Notch claimed at half time 2 years ago, and he hasnt been seen sence). But i think without Crespo and Shevchenko they are a lot weaker up front. We are stonger in every position now. Bring them on!

Dont think we're gonna man mark Kaka, just let the defence take care of him...better off keeping close tabs on Seedorf and Pirlo, jobs for Masch and Xabi.

 

These are good times however the final turns out,,,it's sweet to know we can and will improve a good squad under the stewardship of a great manager
