I did like Jose's point in an interview when he said that Liverpool could rest players in league games with nothing left to play for , and that they have only been playing testimonials since January in the league.

 

Also the Champions League should be the CHAMPIONS league , not some half Spansh two bob outfit from scouseland that can concentrate all their energies on ONE trophy, because they're basically average.

You know what liverpool's atmosphere was f***ing scary. I was sitting with them and they were acting like crazy animals, it really did get to the players. Our fans were just s*** every now and agian the champions song would come up thats it. Liverpool fans were stomping their feet screaming shouting, and when agger scored i had a heart attack. They went mad beyond nature it was crazy honest i felt scared for my safety.

Why cant our fans be like that for f***s sake liverpool had 12 men on the pitch Chelsea had 10. Take lampard away cause he was clearly intimidated i looked at his face and he was not frank lampard.

That forum is f***ing hilarious. It basically consists of hundreds of imbeciles with nary a grasp of the English language simultaneously going into mental-meltdown.

 

Here are a couple of peaches, one whining about Mascherano "illegally" appearing for us as and calling for the docking of points (despite both FIFA & the Premier League scrutinising and allowing the deal to proceed) and another bawling that he should've been cup-tied as he'd already played in the UEFA Cup. Goodness knows what rulebook they're going by, presumably one that they think Chelsea have purchased and are allowed to alter on the fly.

I will add that they aren't all idiots like you guys seem to think. There are plenty of realistic people in there, sure there might be a slight blue tint to even the most logical but we have the same for us in similar situations.. plenty of knee jerking there too.

ok , the more I read , the more I thought that site is full of morons. Look they are bitter that things dont all go your way after the fairy-tale moneyman took over . they all saw success and the sky was the limit... unfortunetly for them we were their limit in 2005 and we were their limit again in 2007. If the logical reasoning for this is whatever they see then fine... however we all know that you cant buy success.. you can buy quality and make the right preparations for success but success can not be bought. Success comes from the long term desire to win things and the likes of liverpool simply have more of this desire than most clubs as our fans show every team that comes to play us here at anfield. It's really quite simple.

 

When our lads went to play in stamford bridge, we had about 3000 people there who for large parts out sang the home support of 35k or so... what does this say to you? does it say that liverpool are more passionate about football than chelsea? I think so, and passion matters.
