Kicked out of all competitions for the remainder of this season. Prevented from playing at all for the next ten seasons. Old Trafford to be demolished. United's records expunged from all records ever at any time. Club to be disbanded. Any hope of that?

Plus it's looking like the 3rd straight year in which an English team's been in the final - maybe even an all-English final. UEFA won't want a step back to the late-70s/early-80s when it was monopolized, so act now. Kick the Mancs out

The fact it was monopolised back then was the main reason English clubs got banned, as certain European clubs were watching their coffers draining year by year.

Heysel was just the catalyst that gave them the excuse they were looking for.

If you think this is total keek you have every right to that opinion, as I have of having mine.

I think there's some truth in that, but largely because there had already been consistent and serious trouble involving English fans. Don't forget that the Football Association voluntarily withdrew English clubs (but not the England team! ) from the competitions before UEFA imposed its indefinite ban.
