There was a report in Dariosport which carried quotes from his agent saying he'd like to play in England and we were the obvious choice.

don't care what they cost as long as they do the job and cause mininum disruption on introduction.

Stability is the key with gradual introduction of quality players, regarding playing time, that doesn't unsettle the quality we already have.

In all honesty if we kicked off next season with the squad we have with a couple of more performers in the wings then I wouldn't be too disappointed. If Raul was one of those then who knows what he might deliver as the season progresses.

Remember the - we don't want Figo, he's past it - comments last season yet seeing him at the san siro back in March, well....
