They're mostly a bunch of idiots - Andy Gray who hates us in the premiership but then supports us wildly in Europe just proves their strange biases.

Never underestimate what a goal or two does for a players profile. So many non-liverpool fans believe Riise a great player and Finnan an average one. Vidic and Carrick were suddenly successes after finding the net a couple of times, Drogba now has universal respect for how Chelsea have always relied on him...

I Think Rimbeux has got it spot on, this muppet has probably not heard of Agger or Finnan, so it writing them off. Someone on here was saying how someone o talksh*te was saying Finnan wasn't good enough for Liverpool recently. He is just too low profile for the average football fan to pay enough attention to. He just does his job with no fuss, if went to a few raves, missed a few drugs tests and 'accidentally' ran into the papperazi outside harvey nicks, he'd be worth £25m.

I don't know about that. I know he enjoyed Gerrards goal v Olympiacos a couple of year back, but that's about it. His stunned silence after both or goals in barca summed up everything about the c***. He was as guuted as the most bitter from the park end.

Finnan is 31 in april, so we have 3 or 4 seasons more of him. The difficulty will be getting someone to replace him. Now if only I could think of an outstanding RB.
