I wouldn't say it was ridiculous. He won the ball yes, but he lunged in from behind. It was a foul for me, the yc maybe was debatable.

 

He totally missed the Thuram elbow on Bellers though - I thought that should've been a second yellow for him. Aside from that, I think he was alright.

so in summary then you think that the ours were definitely bokings, (including Reina, who was hardly dawdling to any great extent) whereas the ref only 'might' have got it wrong not giving Thuram even a yellow, never the mind the straight red he deserved, for the elbow on Bellamy? Or Marquez getting nothing for the wildest challenge of the night and instead the ref demanding that Arebeloa got up?
