gutted ......i hate football at times....from the high in the camp nou to the feelign when john o f***ing shea scores right in front of me...

we played ok..were defo the better side..created the best chances...should have scored at least two.....there keeper has pulled off a couple of blinders

that said we have to take our chances and we are not clinical enough......the one 1st half when bellamy has to square it to Kuyt was on a plate....and they should have had a pen from where i was sat.....

but then Neville should be off......if Xabi gets booked for kicking the ball away then so should that rat fac ed t***

And Momo was awful

Just one of those days.

Unfortunately we seem to save these days for when we play the mancs.

We always seem to shoot ourselves in the foot when we play them.

agree with all of that.

I hate football today, my weekend's ruined.

If that was boxing the ref would have stopped it after 55 mins, I haven't seen the Glams mullered like that in a long time. Our goal wasn't offside either.

For that Neville foul, the rules should be changed that, that becomes a red card.

Momo had a horrible 1st half, but a much better 2nd.

Look at theirs - Carrick 3/10; Larsson, 1/10, Giggs 5; placcy 6, rooney 6, evra 4, vidic 5.....how did we not win? A draw would have felt like a defeat to me

Exactly the same here. They did f*** all.

Momo didnt look like the new Viera today did he?

Where was the Steven Gerrard who tormented Sheffield United last week?

Momo was poor, what was he doing when he controlled the ball and then kicked it 30 feet in the air back to himself? wasn't his game today as they were not scrapping for the ball in the midfield, they were just trying to stp us from playing.

Same old f***ing story against any reasonably well organised defence. We're just not creative/clinical enough in the final 3rd

luckily, our next opponents cannot afford to put up a well organized defence.

Thought he was one of our brightest players today. Also showed everyone how to tackle Ronaldo.

When we beat Barca on Tuesday today will be forgotten quickly

You don't have to deal with inbred manc t***s at work every day? I f***ing dread Monday :(

well organised defence????

we created four very good chances against the (probable) champions

we are not clinical but we are creating

we lost the game in the 20 minutes either side of half-time. had them all over the place and couldn't capitalise. sometimes it seems like a lack of belief as much as a lack of ability. we were dominant in every aspect, other than the scoreline.

Totally agree with that. All over them and no goal. Happens too often.

It seems to me we do not get enough men in the box when we are dominating play. Easy to mark people when Alonso and Momo dont support the strikers. We miss Gerrards support when he is on the right.

Should have been a red. We were going to be in on goal and it was a professional foul. For fouls like that, i reckon he should be off...at least sinbinned for 10 minutes.

I think it's too easy to say "we need a goalscorer" as if it would solve all our problems. Even if we get a 25 goal a season forward the players we have need to take their chances better. I think it's a confidence thing.

not having any criticsm of gerrard today, he was outstanding - by far the best player on the pitch.

I thought Carra was.

Carra and Bellers were ace too.

Says quite a bit when we dominate a match like that but our centre back was probably our best player and the back 4/5 looked comfortable for most of the match. Only Bellamy and Gerrard occasionaly showed any attacking thrust today which is the root of the problem

that hits the nail on the head. that's our problem. when we cross from the wing the majority of times there are only a couple of players in the box. we need to attack more as a whole, as a team. Generally There should be no less than 4 players attacking a looped in cross, in order for a team to manage to score.
