From todays mirrorGARY NEVILLE last night taunted Liverpool by claiming Manchester United are ready to overhaul their record of 18 league titles and replace their arch-rivals as the country's most successful club.

 

United are six points ahead of Chelsea as they try to close in on a 16th title and skipper Neville, famed for his hatred of Liverpool and Scousers, wants to have the last laugh on their old enemy.

 

Liverpool have not won the title since 1990, during which time United have dominated the Premiership, winning it eight times under Sir Alex Ferguson.

 

 

 

 

And Neville, 31, warned: "I always thought it would be a dream to leave this club having won more titles than Liverpool." Cant get us out of his head,sad man.
