Certainly look the part this season, and especially when Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs and Saha all play together United look simply irresistable.

They've only recently hit form though. There was a time not so long ago when their fans were tearing their hair out and they were losing at home to Arsenal and drawing away at Reading.

Its only the last 2 league performances and results that have given them a glossy feel.

Thought they looked half the side without Giggs a few weeks back, he's key for them.

incredible really that players like Giggs and Scholes are still so instrumental. Fantastic pros, it has to be said.

indeed, may also prove to be unsustainable with injuries as the season wears on. A player like giggs won't stay fit for the whoe season.

Nothing but admiration for that pair of players. the rest of them can f*** off though ;)

They've already had quite a few injuries though. Heinze, Neville, Carrick, Park etc. Rooney and Scholes missed three games too through that suspension.

Does worry me that they can play the likes of O'Shea in midfield and still win easily.

I'm certain that Giggs is the key man.

They have only been troubled 3 times in the league this season and the common factor was the absence of Giggs. They won their first 4 league games until Giggs got injured. He was out for the Arsenal game and they lost, he was out for the Reading game where they drew and looked disjointed. Then they won against Newcastle without him but the following game they were losing at half time to Wigan. Ryan Giggs came on at half time and they ended up winning 3-1.

if they have continued good form, they might have problems with fixture congestion/injuries/freshness. they wont be able to remember what it's like to be playing the big boys in europe and still having to turn it on on the weekend.

hope they dont get hargreaves in jan.

And to think most of their fans wanted to ship Giggs off to Inter a coupe of years ago. Another example of why the average armchair fan knows f*** all.

I'm an armchair fan and have consistently wanted him killed, even when he had a scheidt run of form.
