Has scored some really well taken goals this season (and not just for a big man). That effort today was not easy by any means with a ball way behind him. The little reverse pass to Garcia was brilliant reminiscent of the one he did in the CL last season against Real Betis. Hope Rafa keeps Kuyt and Crouch togethor for a while.

Has to start every game from now on, particularly away games. He made a big difference to our away form last season, but this season he's hardly started in away games in the league

He's schit and the sooner he's sold the better, mind you don't reckon there'd be any takers.

Will never get the recognition he deserves from supporters. He has been superb since he came to us. Great player to have and has to be a first choice for most games.

He's a f***ing goal machine.

Since he scored against Wigan last season he hasn't bloody stopped!

Absolutely. Crouch is an intelligent player and has scored a lot lately. Kuyt seems to be an explosive striker and also very intelligent and strong. Keep them together for a while, please.

8 goals for us alone this season. He's our 20 goal a season man

As for talk of the Reds lacking a striker capable of 20 league goals a season since the sale of Owen, it has to be pointed out that Owen never actually scored 20 league goals in a season. Of course, he came close, with 19 and a couple of 18s, and was capable of getting 20 if he stayed fit long enough. But where did it get us? Not as many points we managed last season.

This year I think we can expect 60 goals plus from our 4 strikers.

I think Crouch and Kuyt will get 35-40 between them with Bellamy getting 10-12 and Fowler chipping in close to 10.

Still not taken to him, but he did have an excellent game today. :applause:

And long may it continue, however, Chelsea have won the league the last two years with low-scoring forwards, as have teams on a number of occasions since the Prem' began.

Dirk Kuyt could well be capable of 20 Premiership goals a season, and that has to be the aim, but he needs time to adjust. He's scored as many league goals as Shevchenko, rated the best finisher in the world, and cost £30 million, though.

I find it bizarre that Rafa has dropped him after games in which he's scored...especially when we've been struggling for goals.

played well and scored, can't ask anymore.

Crouch is just pure class and he will only get better. He has never had any pace anyway so think of how good he will be in five years time when he has more games and more maturity. He will be as influential as Sheringham was in his prime at Man Utd, only better.
