Who could you see us going after based on how we are doing this season so far.

 

I have to think we meant to get a right back and just couldn't get one in time so I could see that happening.

I just saw the Greek right back murder the entire Norwegian team. He's an A. Madrid player, cestriedis or something. He was really good going forward, and the Norwegians had to foul him like 20 times in the first half.

Manchester City defender Micah Richards is a January target for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. (The People)

 

Would be a good buy IMO, give solid cover for Finnan and also at CB. He's quick, strong and good going forward altho maybe a bit raw/niaive defensively but I'm sure Rafa will be able to improve him in that area.

Liverpool striker Salif Diao is set to join Stoke on a three-month loan deal. (News of the World)

 

Now the validity of the article is somewhat discredited what with them claiming Diao's a striker but please let it be true!!

He did alright. He was MOTM by a mile. It was justin the latter stages of the match Riise and Gamst Pedersen got any work done.

Selling but not replacing him was Rafa's biggest mistake in the summer

 

Didn't understand it then and it makes less sense as the season goes on
